Voted one of the top 100 most beautiful cars of all time in 2008 by the Daily Telegraph, the Jaguar E-Type was also named the best sports car of the 1960s by Sports Car International in 2004. With its crisp and timeless lines, the E-Type, or XKE in North America, was widely celebrated upon its release in 1961. Even Enzo Ferrari called it “the most beautiful car ever built.”
The Jaguar E-Type we are offering for sale is a Series 2 model. Produced from 1969 to 1971, the Jaguar E Type SII differs from the previous models with its open headlights, rear lights moved below the bumper as well as other minor changes. Almost 13,500 E-Type Series II will be produced, all equipped with the 4.2l 6-cylinder engine.
This Jaguar E Type was delivered new to the United States. It was imported from California unrestored. A very clean car, it shows no sign of rust. Presenting very well, it is also in excellent working order.
